Jim has transformed the local residential and commercial real estate market over the last ten years through hard work, professional communications, and a new level of customer service, all of which have yielded unprecedented record-breaking sales for Montgomery County and specifically the upper-county area.
"My goal is pretty simple," says Jim, "I want to make my clients happy by helping them to achieve their goals, whether it's buying, selling or renting a home. I also feel it's my duty to help our new residents become part of our community. I'm not the typical 'one and done' real estate professional. My clients become my friends and that's important to me."
Jim comes to LPT Realty with over 27 years of sales experience in commercial printing and over $300 million in lifetime sales before transitioning to the real estate industry, where he has been aggressively selling for six years. "I bought and sold my own properties my whole adult life," says Jim, "so transitioning from printing sales to working in real estate was a natural fit for me. Working in real estate is really about working with people, and if you know me, you know that's my passion. I really enjoy this profession and communicating with others."
Jim has lived in Montgomery County for the past 26 years and is the elected President of the Town Commissioners ("Mayor") in his favorite hometown of Poolesville. He was recently re-elected for a second term and also runs the area's youth basketball association. Jim loves to talk about the Poolesville and upper-county areas and welcomes both buyers and sellers to contact him to discuss their real estate needs.
In addition, Jim holds a BS in Marketing from Salem College in West Virginia, has short sale experience, and has represented multiple buyers in their purchase of new homes through local builders (at a substantial discount to the buyer).
